The ‘Giovanni and Iva Cantini Scholarship Foundation’ awards scholarships to deserving students in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering<\/strong>, preferably natives of the municipalities of Pomarance or Cecina.<\/p>\n

It was established on 06.11.1946, and acquired legal personality by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 1812 of 24.12.1951 and subsequently by Prefectural Decree No. 1054\/08 of 27.11.2008.
\nThe Foundation Statute is currently being revised.<\/p>\n

The Board of Directors consists of<\/strong> (those who hold office pro tempore):<\/p>\n

President – Delegate for Relations with the Territory – Prof. Marco Macchia;<\/p>\n

Mayor of the Municipality of Pisa (or his delegate) – Michele Conti;<\/p>\n

Mayor of the Municipality of Pomarance (or his delegate) – Ilaria Bacci;<\/p>\n

Mayor of the Municipality of Cecina (or her delegate) – Lia Burgalassi<\/p>\n

President of the School of Engineering – Prof. Gabriele Pannocchia<\/p>\n
