{"id":51299,"date":"2025-03-20T11:12:56","date_gmt":"2025-03-20T11:12:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/international-students\/refugee-students\/corsi-singoli-richiedenti-asilo\/"},"modified":"2025-04-29T10:54:01","modified_gmt":"2025-04-29T10:54:01","slug":"single-courses-for-asylum-seekers","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/en\/international-students\/refugee-students\/single-courses-for-asylum-seekers\/","title":{"rendered":"Single Courses for asylum seekers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Asylum-seeking students who are at least 20 years old and wish to attend educational activities at the University of Pisa, for cultural or scientific updating purposes, can enrol in Single Courses offered within their Bachelor\u2019s Degree and Master\u2019s Degree Courses, following a specific procedure.<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits and conditions<\/h2>\n<p>Students:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are exempt from paying the fee provided for by the University Contribution Regulations, but they must pay a virtual stamp duty of EUR 16<\/li>\n<li>can exceed the maximum annual limit of 25 CFUs established by the University Academic Regulations<\/li>\n<li>can take the exams up to 12 months after submitting the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>General Information<\/h2>\n<p>If the chosen course belongs to a regulated-admission degree course, the reasoned request will be evaluated by the relevant academic body. In the event of a negative outcome, the stamp duty will not be refunded.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are no deadlines<\/strong> for enrolling in Single Courses.<\/p>\n<p>Credits obtained may be used to obtain further qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>Enrolling in Single Courses<a href=\"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/didattica\/iscrizioni\/immatricolazioni-e-iscrizioni\/integrazione-crediti-per-laccesso-alla-formazione-insegnanti\/\"> is not compatible with enrolling in courses for the integration of credits required to access teacher training.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is not possible to enrol for a number of CFUs lower than that provided by the educational offer for each activity.<\/p>\n<p>The exams must be <a href=\"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/en\/education\/courses\/\">chosen from those offered by the University of Pisa<\/a> in the same academic year of enrolment.<\/p>\n<h2>Procedure<\/h2>\n<p>Enrolment is done online via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studenti.unipi.it\/Home.do\">Alice Portal<\/a>: a<a href=\"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/Guide_Alice_Portal_Registration-2.pdf\">guide <\/a>with all the operational steps is available.<\/p>\n<p>Before starting the procedure, it is necessary to prepare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an<strong> identity document<\/strong> (front\/back in .pdf, .jpeg or .jpg format)<\/li>\n<li>a <strong>passport photo<\/strong> (minimum 480&#215;480 pixels, 200 dpi, max. 3 MB, in .jpeg or .jpg format). The photo must only show the face against a light background, group photos or photos featuring other people, panoramic shots, photos taken from a distance, from behind or where the face is not fully visible (e.g. due to scarves, hats, dark glasses) are not acceptable. Do not use drawings or caricatures, or photos of other people. The photo must not be rotated, nor too dark<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/Modulo_CS.pdf\"><strong>Single Course enrolment form<\/strong><\/a>, completed and signed<\/li>\n<li>residence permit (or receipt of the application) or other documentation proving the regularisation of their stay in Italy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the documents or images do not meet the requirements, the enrolment cannot be completed and the student will be notified via e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>For payment exemption, please send an e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:corsisingoli@unipi.it\">corsisingoli@unipi.it<\/a> and <a href=\"mailto:cooperations@unipi.it\">cooperations@unipi.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After completing the enrolment, a confirmation e-mail will be sent.<\/p>\n<h2>Student Card<\/h2>\n<p>Students enrolling in Single Courses can access all the services provided by the University, including an e-mail account, access to the University\u2019s WiFi network, and the issuance of the Student Card, a badge with a photo and the student ID number.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Student Card<\/strong>, equipped with RFID technology and magnetic stripe, is valid for accessing all university services, including the dining areas in the various university facilities managed by Ardsu Toscana, and can also be used as an \u2018electronic wallet\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Card can be used in Tuscan university canteens from the day after it is issued.<\/p>\n<p>All information on the rates and how to apply for a rate reduction can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dsu.toscana.it\/come-si-accede\">on the dedicated page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Student Card allows students attending any of the Tuscan Universities (University of Pisa, University of Florence, University of Siena, and University for Foreigners of Siena) to access all the services of the Right to Study, regardless of the university they are enrolled in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www-test.unipi.it\/didattica\/segreterie\/carta-dello-studente-libretto\/carta-dello-studente-della-toscana-rilascio-e-duplicato\/\">Visit the page dedicated to the procedure for the issuance of the Student Card<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Asylum-seeking students who are at least 20 years old and wish to attend educational activities at the University of Pisa, for cultural or scientific updating purposes, can enrol in Single Courses offered within their Bachelor\u2019s Degree and Master\u2019s Degree Courses, following a specific procedure.
