It is part of a network of five thematic PhD programmes focused on health, agrifood, public administration, industry and society. The AI for Society area explores complex social phenomena through AI and Data Science, integrating the social and economic sciences. Key topics include: Explainable AI, AI for Social Good, Human-Centred AI, with a strong focus on ethical values and sustainability.
