The Professional Master's program aims to train cardiologists with advanced expertise in multimodality cardiovascular clinical imaging, transforming imaging into an active decision-making tool at the patient's bedside.
The curriculum is designed to develop advanced competencies in:
- Advanced Echocardiography: transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography, including strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, and contrast-enhanced techniques
- Intraprocedural and Intracoronary Imaging: imaging support for interventional procedures involving valve repair and replacement
- Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS): cardiopulmonary and venous assessment for hemodynamic management in both critically ill and outpatient populations
- Multimodality Imaging: integrated interpretation of echocardiography, computed tomography (CT), and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) in cardiovascular diseases, using a combined clinical, imaging, and biomarker-based approach
- Application of Artificial Intelligence to support diagnostic imaging and enhance clinical decision-making
- Diagnostic Appropriateness: selecting the most appropriate imaging modality based on the specific clinical question and patient needs

Regular students:
1500 € payable in 2 instalments

Auditing students:
250 € in a single installment
