The postgraduate degree course Chirurgia tiroidea mininvasiva e robotica trains surgeons specialising in minimally invasive and robotic thyroid surgery, offering comprehensive theoretical and practical training in thyroid surgical pathologies. The programme covers all aspects of treatment, from pre-operative endocrinological assessment to surgery, including fundamentals of anaesthesia management and post-operative patient care. In addition, management and sustainability aspects of treatment will be addressed.

Participants acquire essential theoretical and practical skills for treating both benign and malignant thyroid diseases, with a focus on the surgical anatomy of the neck. They learn to perform procedures using minimally invasive and robotic approaches, mastering the most advanced surgical techniques available.

The programme also includes a dedicated hands-on training component using a surgical simulator, enabling participants to develop the skills required to operate the Da Vinci robotic system.
